In collaboration with the Microteatro Sevilla and professional flamenco performers in Seville, we have set up a brand new flamenco experience, which has premiered February 2017
called MICROFLAMENCO.
The experience is entirely unique and takes an educational approach to the traditional forms of flamenco, combined with the aesthetics of theatre. Students learn more about flamenco in a theatrical interactive and foremost educational way by being present in the dressing room of the preparing flamenco artist. After which they also get to experience a traditional Flamenco performance.
Our main goal with the Microflamenco is to teach more about flamenco in an accessible and fun way. To make the students understand and feel flamenco, by getting to know the artists and see them prepare in an intimate setting. And to put the things they learned in practice when they get to see a real authentic traditional flamenco performance afterwords.
It it’s great to notice how much students can learn from the Microflamenco performance. The questions in the Q&A prove every time that the students have learned a lot and are eager to see more of this magical art form.
